Mathematics Teacher
I am a math teacher who provides knowledge to students. I always try my best with both mental and physical strength for students to succeed in school. This is because it is my habit that I have always loved education since I was young, and always dreamed of becoming a teacher in the future.
In 2015, after graduating from the Regional Pedagogical Center of Phnom Penh, I joined the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports as a civil servant in the education framework, starting at Hun Sen Ponhea Pun High School. Then, in 2019, I moved to Prek Pnov Secondary School until present day. My self-development and ambition did not end by here. I resumed my studies until I graduated a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Khemarak University in 2018. Meanwhile, in 2019, I was honored to be a part of the American Intercon School, Chom Chao Campus, which is one of the most well-known educational institution in Cambodia in terms of discipline, quality and service. It has become my second warm workplace up to now. A developed country depends on human resource, so I am very proud of my contribution.
Engaging in all of this work has allowed me to learn and draw countless new experiences from each other between staff and staff, staff and management to apply in teaching students because teaching is not only providing general knowledge, but also creating many other programs such as social assistance program (painting, planting flowers), students' study tours in various provinces to provide students with the opportunity to learn about the outside world and workshops, especially the school environment program, always lead all students, including environmental cleaners in schools and other locations. Although the workload is challenging, I am happy to gain those new experiences from those jobs, because of these job experiences, I have been motivated to work harder and be more responsible for my professional career.
I am determined to do my best to fulfill my role, especially in researching new information or knowledge to train students to be active in learning and to ensure a highly effective learning and teaching process as expected. In addition, it is about self-development and provides the young generation to become strong pillars in contributing to the support as well as the development of our nation to grow forward with the progress to become a modern society.
Thank you.
