Home / Workshop on Dental Hygiene and Oral Care
On March 01, 2024, the committee of the American Intercon School, Choam Chao Campus, in collaboration with Santepheap Dental Clinic, organized a workshop on Dental Hygiene and Oral Care for students from Preschool to 6th grade students by Dr. Sopheaktra Hen stressed the importance of Dental Hygiene and Oral Care for all ages. Therefore, our duty to brush our teeth often, such as two(2) to three (3) times a day to remove germs and bacteria from the teeth after consuming. Furthermore, we are required to meet up with a dentist, at least two times a year so the dentist can get clean and detect if there are any teeth problems. This is done to avoid serious dental problems that could require lots of money to cure which lead to the financial instability of the family or not being able to attend classes etc. The dentist also indicates the fact that our teeth could easily be damaged with improper care. Therefore, by choosing the right food and regular dental check-up within the instruction of the dentist we will be able to have a cleaner and healthier dental. Finally, the students were able to recognize some of the matters mentioned as part of theirs and understand the ways they can do to take care of their teeth.
